AFRICAN SILVERBILL - Euodice cantans

Once believed to be conspecific with it's Asian cousin the Indian Silverbill this little bird loves the dryer more arid areas of Savannah arounf the Sahars Dessert region. Now introduced to US, Portugal, Qatar it breeds perfectly and appears quite adaptable.
